an illustration of gravitational waves

Penn State physicists use exotic stars to tune into hum from cosmic symphony

An international team of astrophysicists, including researchers from 宾州州立大学阿宾顿分校, have used large radio telescopes to observe a collection of "cosmic clocks" in our galaxy to find evidence for gravitational waves that oscillate with periods of years to decades, according to a set of papers published today in the Astrophysical Journal Letters.
